Due to leaving the country for 6 months, having nobody to look after my Tarantulas, I've had no choice but to try sell them. They both have to go to the same home!
Dash is an un-sexed Brazilian Pink Birdeater Tarantula (Laisodora parahybana)and is approx. 8-10 months old with a current leg span of around 6 cm. He or she will of course grow to the size of an average dinner plate so this must be taken in to account before purchase! His or her body is jet black, with pink hairs covering the body, with a black carapace. The Birdeaters hairs are ulcerating, much more effective compared to other species of spider. They are probably the worst for flicking hairs in defense which is a real pain in the butt! Dash, if turns out to be female, will live around 8-10 years IF taken good care of. If Dash turns out to be male, will live around 3 years. Male spiders dont live half as long as females do!
Chrissie is a female Curly Hair Tarantula (Brachypelma albopilosum) and is approx. 1 1/2 years of age. She has a black body with bronze like coloured, curly hairs, all over her body. Her carapace is also bronze. She will live up to 10 years old if taken GOOD care of, which is the type of home Im hoping both of these Tarantulas will go to, where they will be taken care of.
If requested, I will give anyone whos interested, recent photographs of the critters and measure their leg span as accurately as I can. For any enquiries please contact me by email
2 tanks, 1 large heater mat, 2 hydrometers (humidity thermometers), 2 thermometers, 2 water bowls, a supply of substrait and in-tank accessories and a few weeks worth of food are included with the purchase. A care sheet with FULL guidelines will also be given to the buyer.
I would much prefer anybody who has previously owned Tarantulas to respond to the ad, or experienced tarantula keepers. I will accept offers from other people, too, but they must prove they're committed in to looking after these critters the best they possibly can!
No Tarantula should be put in the same tank at any costs, unless done by an experienced breeder!!
